Please help :)

2022.01.21 21:30 1watuluv1 Please help :)

Wouldn’t normally do this, but I’ve tried everything. I just need a little help. I’m a 23 f in nursing school. I work part time and my roommate just recently moved out leaving me with all the bills. I pay them, but barely, and I mean barely. I work as much as I can without it messing up my schooling. After paying bills though I never have money for food. Ever. And I was okay with barely eating for a bit, thought I might lose some weight, but like now I’m starving. Any help would be great! Cash app is $luvnursing22

So we just found out neighbors down the street received their kit and they ordered months after the initial preorders. Yet I’m still stuck on mid 2022. This now annoys me as they are south 600’ south of us in Central Florida.

2022.01.21 21:30 AmericanMare Thinking or feeling?

• How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself. 20 years old, AFAB but I am a transgender man. I am in college, I do horseback riding, trying to get back into drawing, writing. Throughout highschool and college I was typed as an INTP by rather comprehensive tests but a new test rated me INFP, so just curious as to what might have occurred and if this change is accurate. I love studying these things like psychology, neurology, even chemistry to a degree.
• Is there a medical diagnosis that may impact your mental stability somehow? Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (a severe debilitating form of PMS), dealt with depression and anxiety throughout my life and doctocounselors suspect ADHD.
• Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it? I grew up LCMS (conservative) Lutheran. My dad is a pastor and the structure I suppose is fair to midland. He is definitely not the worst, but not the greatest. I had memorized a lot of prayers when I was extremely young, went to church all the time, always got A’s in religion class (all my classes actually except math). Now I’m deconstructing and deconverting and classifying myself as a Roman pagan. For more insight to my thought process it’s contradictory at best and detrimental at worst. While it wasn’t facts, logic, or science that lead to my deconversation, I see now how hypocritical and untrustworthy many of its teachings are.
• What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not? I do not yet have a job but I’m studying to be a therapist.
• If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed? REFRESHED! I spend most of my time in my room anyways. Although as of late I feel lonely, I believe this is due to the abnormal circumstances of the pandemic.
• What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities? I like sports but due to my disability I often can’t play something like baseball for very long, I do enjoy horseback though, I’ve gotten better about spending time at the beach and I do enjoy walks, going to the park or on local mountain trails. However I relatively prefer staying inside, watching a movie, drawing, reading, cooking with pals or something.
• How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate? Extremely, I have always been the kid in class to ask a billion questions. I have ideas I never execute (although I blame executive dysfunction for that). I’m mostly curious about psychology, ancient history and hypothetical “What if” world events, social justice and art. I’m not entirely sure what this is asking but I assume it’s asking physical and tangible vs theoretical. Hate math, unless it is tangible and applicable in the real world. But I can understand the complexities of trauma on the human mind and often know how to dig deeper into peoples minds.
• Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be? Interesting reaction actually I just realized- I thought I’ve always wanted to be a leader. If I could tolerate people, I generally like working alone. I have tried to be a leader before but others are often louder than me, not more vocal, just louder. Cuz I will argue. I generally like to plan things out when it comes to group projects (despite never planning my own projects). I think my style is semi-heavy handed. Always have to keep people on task, however I think I am good at conflict resolution.
• Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity? With my disability? No. Coordination is like, a key issue. Again, drawing, I think I would like pottery, idk if I can stand the clay texture though. Or glass blowing maybe.
• Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer. YES. I mainly do realistic animals, I need to practice animation and people more. I can be extremely detailed in my work. I appreciate Roman statues, but I also love ancient Chinese paintings. I’d probably try any style once.
• What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them? With trauma this is an extremely difficult question. I have much to learn and rework from the past, to breathe and let it go. To not worry about the future and come what may. I also am beginning to understand that everyone views time differently. It is not always linear, monochromic vs polychromic. Time management is actually something I really need to work on and balance my views of “being early/on time is better” as well as “life happens and somethings just need to get done, and everything else can wait.”
• How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so? I hate helping people, it’s either incredibly boring or it backfires on me and traumatizes me. My counselor would say I help people because I care, which I do. To a degree.
• Do you need logical consistency in your life? Generally yes, however this could also come from my dad’s need for logicalness. Some things are not logical, some things are simply feelings and that’s ok. Then again I do try to explain and reason my feelings, so yea something that isn’t logical might bug me for a bit.
• How important is efficiency and productivity to you? I have none so there’s that. Efficiency is important to me when it comes to my external environment, my computer should have a fast response time, trains shouldn’t be late, etc etc.
• Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that? Sometimes? I’ll lie a lot but that’s more of a safety thing/not wanting to get in trouble. I don’t make people do stuff.
• What are your hobbies? Why do you like them? Mentioned them before, although I didn’t mention roleplaying, making edits or cosplaying. Drawing, writing, all these things bring out the imagination and perhaps helped me escape a little bit. I can do and create something that’s my own.
• What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses? It highly depends. Perhaps physical senses the most? Although I’m also huge on trying to memorize stuff when I can. But generally I do really enjoy applying concepts or getting to be creative.
• How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go? I’ll only make really loose plans, so if something goes wrong I won’t freak out and I can move on.
• What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally? Professionally I hope to own a private practice therapy clinic, high hopes is getting a doctors degree to be able to administer medication. So maybe then I’d work in a hospital, but I still would prefer one on one stuff. Personally? Get a job, buy some stuff I’ve always wanted, have my little place however I like, begin to transition, apply for a service dog. I don’t think I’ll be able to move to Italy but I’m still hoping to learn Italian and German (and latin).
• What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why? I had extreme nyctophobia as a child, to the point I would hallucinate, even today sometimes if I’m home alone at night. People make me uncomfortable, does that count? It’s very strange I’m uncomfortable around people who don’t show enough emotion or seem too logical or always talk about politics, or some fucking article or stalks or some dumb shit. But I’m also uncomfortable around overly happy, rambling people who touch and hug people ALL the time. Hate? Closed minded people who refuse to see the other side of the argument, they won’t even consider it for a second. People who think facts and feelings can’t blend, or that they don’t. We all have feelings.
• What do the "highs" in your life look like? Basic self care, putting effort into my appearance, finding peace with myself in rare moments.
• What do the "lows" in your life look like? Not going to answer this, too dark.
• How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so? Day dream a lot, I tend to zone out so now I’m not 100% aware of my surroundings.
• Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about? Firstly, where am I and how did I get here. Can I leave the room or is it locked? If it’s not locked I’m chill. I’d probably sleep, think about some stuff.
• How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it? Really important? A few hours probably, and yes I’m indecisive as hell.
• How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life? I don’t know when I’m not processing my emotions, they are extremely important to me because it’s how I understand myself and others.
• Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why? Yes, either for safety or because they don’t shut up.
• Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why? I’m not sure what ‘rules’ means but being a trans, gay, ex christian, liberal is probably against the ‘rules’ in my parents house so I’m breaking those. Authority should be challenged to encourage growth and the betterment of society and humanity as a whole.

2022.01.21 21:30 Funsized_eu Dice's own website says "The Stockholm office is home to roughly 700 employees and growing..." So my question is:

What exactly are they doing?
Yes, the studio is under new management and has a process to 'figure out' what to do with 2042.
Even if the game had experienced a flawless launch, we were still only getting a pitiful amount of content with each season given such a huge number of staff at the studio. They're not even due to move onto another project as I understand it?
I know they're not all level designers, animators, weapon modellers or texture artists but I'm genuinely beginning to wonder the proportions of staff that occupy the Stockholm office. They obviously have barely any testing staff given what gets through the cracks and ends up in the game.
But we can discard that one guy on the communications team that deletes his own tweets, he obviously doesn't do anything.
So that leaves approximately 699. Any ideas?

2022.01.21 21:30 anuanu23 What the so called experts won’t tell you about today’s r/stockmarket

I want to briefly recall multiple conversations I had with a friend who is a Wall Street trader the second half of 2019 (Pre-Covid) and we both consistently concluded at the time that the market was in a bubble. In a bubble before Covid when the Nasdaq was in the 9000 range and the S&P was below 3000. Bubble where corporate Debt to Equity ratios were already unsustainable over the long term. So, what has happened since. 1. The Fed & Treasury went on a printing marathon of historic proportions buying ridiculous amount of bonds injecting Trillions of dollars into the economy 2. The Government added by issuing much needed checks to the tune of few additional trillions to companies and citizens alike. All that Cash found it’s way both into the economy as well as into the stockmarket Conclusion: High Flying Multiples resulting from projections based on unsustainable growth. Now what: Fed is done; Govt stimulus quickly depleting and on top of it all inflation is out of control. All of this with the backdrop of a potential geopolitical storm between the West, Russia and China. As of now we have only seen a 10% correction on a market that has run up 50-100% since already inflated pre-Covid levels. Meta verse is a hype, EV’s are years away from mainstream. Bottom line if we’re lucky we have another 10% drop, and if economy slows and inflation persists the Fed is more likely to make a policy mistake that will spur a recession and we could bottom 50% lower from here. Good luck folks and may the force be with you.

2022.01.21 21:30 OtherwiseAd2555 “But there’s hiring signs everywhere!”

Part rant. Part needing advice.
Mom doesn’t understand why I’m still a server despite having a college degree. She always argues about all the hiring signs everywhere. I’ve tried arguing that companies aren’t really hiring, but I’ve never been good at explaining, especially when it comes to the workforce. What’s a good way to articulate that not only do companies have ridiculous requirements but a lot of companies aren’t hiring despite having notices.

I’m adam 23 from the uk. I work in operations as a supervisor so I don’t have much time to socialise , I’m quite extroverted but when I spend 12+ hours at work daily it makes it hard to do this.
I’m pretty much a Nightowl so timezones aren’t an issue at all. I’m quite boring in the conventional sense, I don’t game, I don’t do much. I watch Netflix, football, F1 and YouTube 😂
I try workout as much as I can but NAH cba recently.
If you’re happy to chat to me just drop me a message and let’s see if we have anything in common.
Photo of me is on the post, some more are on my account too. Happy to verify. I don’t mind if you aren’t comfortable showing face.
Like to send voice notes and calling too :)
